JA: Sometimes things that you think will be really complicated end up being easy to fix with a Ford. The Ford Mechanic I'm going to connect you with knows all the tricks and shortcuts. Tell me a bit more about what's going on so he can help you best.
Customer: it was working fine before we took it apart. and we took the cab and the doghouse off of it and the speedometer and odometer was working fine. and now it isn't working at all. and we checked all the fuses and everything checked out fine.
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself?
Customer: yes
JA: Great! What have you tried so far?
Customer: We checked all the fuses that it could be and we checked all the plugs.
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Ford Mechanic should know about your Ford?

Yes the cab and doghouse both were taken off of the truck at the same time

Okay, the problem is likely in one of the connectors on the drivers side inner fender liner not being plugged all the way in. You need to access them and unplug each one, one at a time, then spray some WD40 into the connector and blow it out. Quite often they get dirt and dust in them and this makes them hard to seat all the way. I will be away for a short time, but will be back later today if you need more help. Thanks.
