Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Well right now the battery is out because the alarm system drains it and I actually just bought a new I dont have that info.....are there position sensors that can cause this more internal....done alot of engines but not so good with trannys and I'd rather not scrap her
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

yes,it could have a bad solenoid block causing it to start out in a higher gear than first..i would like to have those codes..the codes are still stored in the trucks computer even if the battery is off.but,,if the transmission is in fact slipping when you first take off, this would be internal of the transmission and the transmission will need to be rebuilt or replaced, thanks
