have been researching on Google.....I have to push a button to get my car out of sticks a lot of times....apparently this is related to the key not coming out.

If the vehicle shifter isn't fully seating into park the key won't come out of the ignition. If it is seeing the vehicle is in park it can be the ignition switch not letting the key fully turn to the off position.
