Customer: hi im in the uk ok 2008 mustang imported and i wired in gt lights but as i fitted them i put a wire the wrong way round and it sparked now no headlights yurn signal at the front

all i did was conect the wiring gt fog lamp loom to fuse box power ran the long cable to the light switch as i pulled out the light switch a wire came off the fog switch when i reattached i think i put on wrong terminal and was a small spark now no headlights high beam or front turn signals and when engine it running if you turn lights on or flash main beam it stops the engine running

If you saw a spark and lights didn't work after that then odds are you blew a fuse but it's possible that module damage was done. The first thing should be done is check fuses.

Check fuses F50, F59, F63, F67, F54 and F55. Odds are one or more of these is blown.
