I have 2010 f150 with nav. that I replaced left side blend motor. was blowing cold know stuck on hot is there a calibration I need to do

Truck was changing temp on driver side. I replaced blend motor know just its stuck on hot with no change when going up or down on controls

To calibrate the HVAC. Remove the battery cables, hold them together for one minute, then 15 minutes later, reconnect them. Turn the key on for 30 seconds or more, then start the vehicle and test the operation of the HVAC system.

I removed the cables and held them together. waited awhile after turning the key on and the driver side still doesn't work I put a new blend door motor in it from the dealer. Before i started working on the truck only had a/c now its stuck on heat. The blend door turns back and forth I took apart the old motor and was turning it by hand it was changing from heat to cold while turning it.
