Hi. What you describe can be caused by a relay that is overheating. Have you tried replacing the fuel pump relay yet?

Is there another relay that could cause that

There is the pcm power relay also.But if that relay was not working the check engine light would not come on when the key is turned on, because the pcm would not be powered up. What engine is in the truck?
