hello, first let me ask if you have done any parts replacing yet and if anything had helped? does it help if you wiggle the ignition switch when the issue is happening ?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
the only thing done was 3 years ago I was working out of town, got in the truck to come home could not turn the ignition switch to the on position. Itook the lock cylinder out and cut the plastic lock catch off. Every thing worked fine for three years. Checked all the fuses all fine. obd2 codes stored p0133, p0401, p1299, & p0420. no recent parts replaced in couple years.

ok, your wipers are on the stalk on the left side with the turn signal switch correct? as well as the cruise control?

ok i know those stalks had issues with them internally, maybe when turning the key it is causing the linkage to rub some wiring, do you have a tilt column? if so try tilting the column while the wipers are on to see if anything changes?
