Customer Question

Customer: 2004 Ranger 3.0 Liter P0302 misfire only under full throttle accaleration, more likely to happen going uphill. Have swapped plugs, wires & #2 injector for #3. Same results back each time. Any ideas? ***** *****
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?

HI. I have seen these 3.0 need valve jobs before. The valves get tuliped on the end. This may be what you have going on since you already swapped the plug, wire and injector. You may be able to verify this with a cylinder leakdown test. Let me know if you need more info on that.
