Customer Question

Customer: hello I am a small independent dealer in so cal and I have a 2012 f250 and we don't have the keyless entry code. and I know our local ford dealer will charge us about $150 to give it to us
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: I need the location of the keyless entry code. I know that on other ford it is located somewhere on the vehicle
JA: OK got it. Last thing — JustAnswer charges a fee (generally around $28) to post your type of question to Ford Experts (you only pay if satisfied). There are a couple customers ahead of you. Are you willing to wait a bit?

Note: you will need to have two programmed passive anti-theft keys for this procedure.
To display the factory set code in the information display:
1.Insert a key into the ignition and turn the ignition on for a few seconds.
2.Turn the ignition off and remove the key.
3.insert the second key into the ignition and turn the ignition on.
The factory set code will display for a few seconds.
Note: The code may not display until after any other warning messages first appear.
