1996 f350 powerstroke 7.3 ... last two morning turn key and nothing ... notice power gauge down a bit ... jumped no problem ... had batteries checked and both are good

Hello, so inside the cab when you turn the key on the power seems low? Does the vehicle not start?

just one click but all power is on...then jump and good till morning...both batteries checked good.

Sounds like you have worn out battery cables. If you have a multi meter we can test them. Over time the copper inside of the cables oxidizes. This creates resistance and it takes a small amount to affect the starting system. If could just be the positive cable that goes from the starting solenoid to the starter itself. That is the wire that usually wears out.
