I just cant believe to repair a broken actuator linkage rod,

Customer Question

I just cant believe to repair a broken actuator linkage rod, that the entire column needs to be replaced, there has to be a more rational repair method available. the key switcgh for the ingition will only spin in the OFF direction, it would not engage or shut the vehicle off. it is as if there is nothing connected to the switch.

Hello. My name is ***** ***** I will be helping you today.

Im not sure where you heard you need to replace the whole column to replace a part but it isnt true. I am attaching an exploded view which shows all the parts and part numbers for them. Match up your broken part to these diagrams and you can see which part you need.
