2001 expedition driver heated seat not working. seat pad circuit open. back pad checks out with meter. should the 8 pin plug that plugs into heater module show some resistance....thanks kevin

Hi. It sounds like you checked the resistance of the pads correctly. Pins 5 and 3 at the module harness side, would have the resistance of the seat back and heater combined. Since those pads are wired in a series circuit.
