2008 Escape.190K miles had front Rotors and pads replaced, on driving from dealer had loud variable clunking sound on hitting bumps, braking and steering was fine ?

Hello, the most common source of a noise over bumps in the front would be a loose or worn front sway bar link. You can remove the links and see if the noise goes away.

take both links off, then test drive the escape ? if that is not the problem what else might it be? there was no noise prior to mechanic replacing rotors and pads ?

I dont see what else could be making this type of noise unless there was an issue with the rotor fitting if aftermarket parts were used.
