Have f250 2006 powerstroke v8. New batteries, new alternator, won't start due to drained battery. Will start with booster cables so thinking not starter

Hello, when trying to start the vehicle for the positive cables get hot at all?

Ok sounds good. It sounds to me like the positive cables might be wire out. That will cause this issue if the batteries are fully charged.

The tuck will start when l have driven liking enough to recharge batteries. It's overnight that out will not stay next morn. Would that still be true in that case, by that l mean battery cables

That usually indicates a battery drain. On this vehicle if nothing is being kept on the cluster can fail to go into sleep mode. When this happens it can drain the batteries overnight and cause them to be dead the next day.
