Hello what do you need to know
It doesnt run it at all, the pats system worked for a week and now it doesnt?The theft light is blinking when the key is turned to on?
Ok so it doesnt run at all with the conversion.The instrument cluster is the pats module and would need the vin number to match from the cluster to the pcm. Reprogramming of the vehicle for the modules to match would be required and probably wouldnt easily be done since you are mix matching systems which are different calibration software files
Transceiver reads key code, if it was bad it wouldnt start with old pcm. should be same type of setup. Would need to run diagnostic to see what codes are stored when theft lamp blinks, since you are flip flopping systems. Be easier to get original system working properly im sure
then system diagnosis would need to be done see if any issues with network communication, pats codes,pcm or instrument cluster codes.def a difference between 96 n 99 model

All i can tell u is run a diagnostic, cant tell much of anything else without that being done.
Ok code reader will only look at pcm, need to look at all modules on system
Or local shop with a high end scanner.
Or a local locksmith
Yes but depending on the software it might not give you pats security access.local locksmith would have it, just call around and they can come to you check it out and know the ins and outs of interchangability or how to trick it out if needed,
