Hello. Is this item under the hood on the driver side and makes a buzzing noise?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
not under the hood. its mounted to the frame under the passenger side. yes it makes a buzzing noise.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
its the buzzing that starts when you turn the key on and stops when the plugs are warmed up.

On the passenger side? The fuel pump is on the driver side frame. Can you get a photo of it by chance?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I know the fuel pump is under the driver this is under the passenger. it sorta looks like a fuel pump but smaller. Part #315cdc45/12-523a

That's not a valid ford part number. It sounds like a vacuum pump maybe?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Maybe I think it might have something to do with the exhaust, on closer inspection.
Expert:  James replied 1 year ago.

It could since the exhaust runs over that direction.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It's got a square box connected to it that says exhaust. I have to unplug it to get it to shut off.

Hmm i don't that that is factory at all. If you can upload a photo I am curious.
