Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

There are many things that will cause a lack of cruise control operation. You may have a failed cruise servo, wiring issue, it could be the switch itself,or it may be a seemingly unrelated problem. If there are trans codes set, cam or crank sensor issues, throttle position sensor signal issues; anything that could prevent speed from being controlled correctly it can disable cruise.

The first step in diagnosing the problem is to check for fault codes. Has this been done?
