I drive a 05 mustang gt with a few bolt on mods....needless

Customer Question

I drive a 05 mustang gt with a few bolt on mods....needless to say I am ever so slightly, jes a tiny bit too hard on my converts rotors when I break at high speeds and they keep eventually warping and become annoying when the steering wheel shakes rly
there a trick I don't know that I can use to ease the heat generated or do I need upgraded breaks (mine are still factory) I know different alloys and Also drilled and sloted breaks are prob what I need but other then spending a lot of money upgrading my whole
breaking system is there a cheaper way to salve my prob?

I am sorry that you have not been helped yet. I just came online and saw your question
The simple truth is that if you do alot of high speed braking, there is nothing you can do to prevent the excessive heat buildup of the braking action without upgrading from factory parts.
You need drilled and slotted rotors with upgraded ceramic pads. I would go with either Brembo or EBC for best results.
But without upgrading, there is no solution other than the obvious of cutting down on your high speed braking. From the way you phrased your question, I understand it is not what you want to hear, but I cannot change physics.
