So you cannot turn the key off and remove it because the steering is locked? Can you turn the key and start the engine?

The switch is in the off position and I want to unlock the column and turn the key on

Ok, does it feel as though the steering wheel is loaded up in one direction?

If so, perhaps jacking up the front end until the wheel are off the ground and then trying again what you did before turning hard left and right on the steering wheel while trying to turn the key to run.

Please cancel my request. I am taking the truck to the dealership. Please refund my $28.00. Thanks Xxx Xxxxxxxxxxx
