Customer Question

I have a 2005 F-150 with a 4.6 engine. I replaced the turn signal switch last weekend. Everything went fine with that. Lately it wants to die when warmed up. The RPM drops to 300 or lower and then revs up to about 600 and then drops again. It does this 2 maybe 3 times before it levels out to 600 RPM. It has died at stop lights.Starts right up no problem. I am learning to drive with both feet. Can you help.

Hello, my name is***** and thanks for your question.

Try cleaning the throttle body and then remove both battery cables and touch them together for 5 seconds. If they wont reach use a small wire to connect them together (just make sure they are disconnected from the battery first.
