I am replacing the ignition switch on my 2012
Ford Edge. Will not change the key cylinder. Does this need to be programmed or is it s plug an play part?

Hello and thank you for your question, if you are only replacing the ignition switch and not the ignition lock and cylinder the keys will not need to be programmed. Programming is only required when replacing the ignition lock and keys.
