Customer Question

Our 2003 ford escape has a TCC issue come up on the computer. How hard is it to change this? Do I need to pull the tranny to do it?

Hello, my name is***** and thanks for your question. The transmission will need to be removed to replace the torque converter if that is what you are referring to by TCC (torque converter clutch). It is a big job, especially if its a 4x4.
