Customer Question

I have a similar problem with my 2008 Ford Edge Limited. However, the battery would not even respond to a jump start. The battery is only a year old. It is the Ford Motorcraft heavy duty tested tough version.

Hello and thanks for using JustAnswer.I will try my best to help you with your question.
You should have the battery tested and since it is a Ford Motorcraft battery, have the dealership do it. Make sure you have the receipt for the battery. It has three years free replacement. We use a GR! Midtronics battery tester that properly tests the battery and loads it to properly test the CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) of the battery.
