Expedition: working on a 2002 expedition fuel tank will not

working on a 2002 expedition fuel tank will not fill up. we have blown all vent lines non are stopped up. it has a new charol canister and valve. The vents on the top of the tank are clear expect the black one that has a check valve in it and it was connected to the canister. Not sure what to do from here. Mike(###) ###-####

I am happy to assist you today with this issue, let's see if we can resolve it. There are two hoses coming up to the filler neck, one is a fill hose and the other is a vent hose. Have you checked these two and made sure they are clear. sometimes there's two hoses side by side and sometimes there is a hose inside of the other hose. Those are the ones that will cause the problems on filling or when filling the tank up. One of those has to be kinked or restricted or too short the one inside of the other one, or the hose can be too long also if it's a hose inside of a hose. It will just be right in that area right there focus on that and this issue will be gone.
