Hello, my name is ***** ***** I'm here to help get your problem solved. This is a common symptom of a clogged catalytic converter. Completely remove front oxygen sensor from exhaust, if that allows it to go over 2500 rpm you know converter is clogged. Let me know how it goes or if you have more questions, thanks.

Definitely sounds like the situation, let me know if removing sensor helps or if you run into more questions. Thanks.
