4.2l don't know what speed it's the same on all settings I looked at resistor looks fine

well, it is not a fuse nor relay nor the blower motor, reviewing the diagrams? you have one of two possibles, Either blower resistor is in fact bad andf looking at it? just does not a short etc OR a bad blower switch that is shorted, My experience? you likely have a bad resistor, I have not yet to date in 37 years seen a switch cause same speed on all speeds but sure it can happen, Hope this makes sense

Resistor reads 6 on volt meter on all connection

understood, but still can be shorted, we have never generally done testing at them, we work off symptoms, I still feel resistor, can be switch, but,, I lean to resistor
