yes, the rv came to the shop with the rear calipers locked up the owner, had purchased the rv a 150 miles away and drove it till the brakes was burned off. The shop replaced the brakes, calipers, lines ,pressure bleed and test drove the back brakes locked up again immediately . the master cylinder was tested it failed .A new master cylinder was installed same issue . The unit was bleed with a scan tool . The motor would not activate on the abs unit ,tech replaced abs unit. pressure bleed brakes and used scan tool the ,brakes work great but the red brake light still illuminates. I need to know how to check the level sensor. The parts for this unit from ford have been discontinued . I sent the rv to the ford dealership and it beat those guys. I need help with a schematic or some direction.Cliff . ASE master truck tech

Ok good, does it have anything to do with the parking brake circuit, if you unplug the parking brake switch does the lamp go out?
Ask Your Own Ford Question
Customer reply replied 2 years ago
the parking brake is wired to the leveling stands , I have removed that from the system to try and make the light go out but no luck.
Ford Mechanic: HDGENE, Ford Senior Master/Diesel/Trans replied 2 years ago
Ok so it seems to be an issue with the red brake light level sensor in the master cylinder correct?
Ask Your Own Ford Question
Customer reply replied 2 years ago
To me yes , it also has a pressure sensor that is on the master cylinder. the level sensor is a 3 wire setup.
Ford Mechanic: HDGENE, Ford Senior Master/Diesel/Trans replied 2 years ago
Ok the pressure sensor is to deactivate the cruise control system if you disconnect the float sensor and jump it does it go out
