we hanve a 2003 F250 superduty, 6.0, which ficm was just replaced within a year's time. we took it in to have it for smog, and we were told the the plug in unit inside the truck to check for diagnostic codes is not working, meaning is not registering at they won't the truck. Is there like a fuse that can replaced or what need to be fix ?

Yes it is usually the same fuse for the power point/cigar lighter on this truck its fuse number F2.12 a 20 amp fuse in the central fuse panel behind the lower dash panel under the steering column
