2011 ford mustang goes into limp mode with a wrench light lit

Customer Question

2011 ford mustang goes into limp mode with a wrench light lit up. After stopping the vehicle and letting it sit for a few minutes, it starts up and continues. Dealer said no code to read...cleaned throttle body at dealership (100.00), filled with premium gas and a gas drying additive. Car ran for a week and then went into limp mode again. Had car towed to dealer who says that throttle body assembly needs to be replaced (900.00). Any ideas?

it sounds like the throttle body for sure, I would look online for a throttle body, 900 bucks is outrageous

What do you estimate that the total repair costs should be, parts included?
