Ford f150 6 cylinder: I have a 1997 ford f150 6

Customer Question

Hi I have a 1997 ford f150 6 was overheating so I replaced thermostat, hoses, water pump and radiator...still overheating so I think it's the fan clutch...ran it a little and now have a high pitched sequel noise...could the squel be tied to the fan clutch or something else? Thanks

Hello. My name is ***** ***** I will be helping you today. The squeal is most likely from you spilling coolant on the belt doing all of this.Try pouring some water on the belt when it starts squealing. If the noise goes away replace the belt.
