Ford XLT: 95 Ford XLT rear electric windows work. RF was seizing

Customer Question

95 Ford XLT rear electric windows work. RF was seizing but motor ran so quit using it. Months later LF went from working to dead. No click, no motion. We think seized RF which would move a little on demand is now dead too. So, no power window operation in front but rears OK. Owners manual shows a wrong location for fuse we think. Your thoughts? Thanks.

hi the first thing to check is to see if the window will kind of work when you wiggle the harness that is between the door and door jamb while holding the window button.
.if the drs window moves a little while wiggling the wiring harness then you need to look at the harness in between the door and jamb.
if it doesn't then you should look anyways .
but the passenger side window motor you said was seizing so that could be the window regulator and /or the motor both.
All the windows use the same circuit for power so I don;t think that is the issue since the rear ones work .
you most likely will have to take off the door panel and see if you have hot and ground at the motor when you push the window button for up or down .
If you dont have a power and ground at the motor it could be either in the master switch or the wiring in between the door ..

did you find a broken wire in the harness ?
