F250 XLT: Have a brand new 2015 Ford F250 and can't move the

Customer Question

Have a brand new 2015 Ford F250 and can't move the ignition switch to start it.

This is usually from the steering wheel being locked. With the key in the ignition turn the steering wheel as far as you can. The key should now turn. If it doesn't please let me know.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Tried to move the wheel both ways, as far as I could. No luck.
Expert:  James replied 2 years ago.
If you flip the key 180 degrees will it work. Have you tried both keys?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Tried the flip already. Only received one key with the vehicle.
Expert:  James replied 2 years ago.
You received one key and this vehicle is brand new? If that is the case the dealer owes you a second key. When you turned the steering wheel did you hold it while turned?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
I agree they owe me a second key. Yes, I did hold the wheel over while turning. I'll keep going through the motions...
Expert:  James replied 2 years ago.
You can try wiggling the key out just a very small amount and see if it turns. It's possible for the key to be mid cut a very small amount.
