Ford mustang gt: I have a Dealer installed MobileEase Bluetooth

Customer Question

I have a Dealer installed MobileEase Bluetooth in my 2008 mustang GT with the shaker 500 factory radio. I am swapping out the radio for a Pioneer AVH-P2300DVD with Bluetooth capability. When my tech swapped out he said he made connetions between the radio and mobileeaseand thought it would work, it doesn't. Any suggestions?

Those Mobile Ease systems for some reason don't work too well with aftermarket radios. They tend to not work with the Ford ones either. Ford has actually quit using them and a lot of the dealers are no supporting them anymore. We've been installing a lot of the Motorola IHF1000 kits in place of the Mobile Ease. Ask your stereo installer if they can get this for you or if they can use just the controller off of the Motorola kit with the Mobile Ease kit. Not many other options on this I'm afraid.
