my 1983 mustang does not have a ground from the body to the frame i negative grounded it at the battery .should it be replaced an why

Hello and thank you for your question, My name is ***** ***** I will assist you today.
Your 1983 needs a good ground from the battery to the frame and over to the engine, if you do not have it grounded this way it can cause a voltage drop and also effect the starter while cranking. You need the ground this way to complete the circuit.
