Ford F250 SuperDuty Pickup 4x4: I have 2004 ford diesel f250

This answer was rated:

I have 2004 ford diesel f250 6 litre and I'm not getting any boost pressure.. Any ideas?
Your engine has a variable vane turbo and they have a bad habit of carboning up and sticking. This will normally cause a loss of boost. If you do your own work I can post a link to some videos that detail the disassembly and cleaning of the vanes. It is intermediate level tech work but if you're comfortable you can probably tackle it.
