Ford Fusion SE: I have a ford fusion 2007 SE Passenger side

This answer was rated:

I have a ford fusion 2007 SE Passenger side front door closes but will not engage ?

I would try to use some spray oil first. I have seen these latches act up and not allow the door to close. The fix is to replace the door latch assembly. It seems that a few of Ford models have door latch problems and most are hard to do. The door panel and the window motor/regulator assembly and window need to be removed to replace the latch.

I hope spraying works for you but in most cases the latch will need to be replaced. The latches have parts covered with plastic and the plastic comes off and jams inside.

lets start here

good luck
