Ford Excursion: 2000 excursion.. Accelerating from a stop

This answer was rated:

2000 excursion.. Accelerating from a stop sign, heard a noise and now vehicle act like its in neutral all the time. Put it in any gear and it just whines and does not move. Transmission fluid good, and up to date on service. No signs of leaks or broken parts underneath. It has a slight smell of burning, like a belt that has slipped. Engine runs fine, starts and stops fine.

Hello My name isXXXXX assist you today, I'm sorry to hear about your truck.
