I have a 1996 Ford Ranger 4.0 and have just installed a new long block and am about to start putting on the manifold, but before I do I want to double check that I properly aligned my new camshaft position synchronize. With the alignment tool placed in and the #1 cylinder at TDC on the compression stroke, the CPS was placed in at approximately 60 degrees COUNTERCLOCKWISE and set at 15 degrees COUNTERCLOCKWISE of the center line.
