dealership a few days ago but cannot find the wiring harness snap

Customer Question

I have a 2002 T-bird. It did not come with fog lamps. I bought fog lamps from the dealership a few days ago but cannot find the wiring harness snap on plug to plug into the lamp. Is there a harness I can buy to plug into it or is the connector folded out of the way somewhere that I can't see?

I will do my best to answer your question fast and accurate using the info you have provided. Thanks for visiting Just Answer.

Look over the wire diagram shown below

WIRE DIAGRAM

If you do not have all the components in this diagram like the fog lamp relay and fog lamp head light switch, odds are it is not pre-wired for fog lamps

Do you have this fuse and relay in the auxiliary junction box under hood?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
No fuse or relay # came through on your return e-mail. I have found the relay box under the hood and just need to know which relays and fuse #'s you want me to look for.
Expert:  Chris (aka- Moose) replied 5 years ago.

You need to look for a fuse #3 and see if it has power at all times

Customer: replied 5 years ago.
Would I check This by pulling the fuse out and using a voltmeter to check the voltage in the fuse holder with the switch on and off?
Expert:  Chris (aka- Moose) replied 5 years ago.
You just touch the metal tabs on the top of the fuse to verify power if this fuse is even there.
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
There is a fuse in #3 holder. I will test it and reply to you

okay
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
There is a ten amp fuse in #3 slot, but I am not reading any voltage with the swich pushed in or pulled out. Unless I'm not grounding it correctly.

Check other surrounding fuse or the battery to make sure your meter is good.
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
Guess I will have to take this to the dealer. Thanks for your help
