Welcome to! My name is DriveFast71(Ron) and I will do my best to answer all of your questions completely and accurately.

The P1451 is pointing to a fault in the EVAP Canister Vent Solenoid. This solenoid is mounted to the side of the EVAP Canister. Before replacement of the solenoid, double check all the lines to the solenoid for any cracks, holes or loose/missing connections. Inspect the electrical conector and harness for any loose or broken wires.
