2002 F350: 7.3 diesel..the fuel injectors need to be replaced

Customer Question

I am looking at buying a 2002 F350 7.3 diesel. Someone mentioned the fuel injectors need to be replaced about every 90K. Is this true and what kinda of price range is this repair? The vehicle I am looking at has 297K on it so I am just being a little causious and want to know what I may be getting myself into.

Someone is feeding you a line of BS,the 1999 to 2003 7.3l engine is one of the most reliable engines Ford ever used, the only time you need to replace injectors on this engine,is if one fails, which is very rare and then you need only replace the one that has failed.
