1990 ford 7.3 diesel engine.need to remove starter.have two lower bolts removed . what does it take to get the upper bolt that holds the starter in removed?

My name is XXXXX XXXXX I am here to try and assist your with your question.

Its a tight fit but the trick is to come in from the front over the cross member with a long extension and a wobbly socket to access it. YOu need to leave the bottom both in place to hold the starter till you get the top bolt out.
