ok

Customer:

blue with black tracer

snapontech :

ok one moment

snapontech :

The problem is the switc

snapontech :

You will need to replace the switch and this will fix the problem

Customer:

how do i check the switch

snapontech :

That is the power going to the switch so if your unable to use the windows its a failure in the switch itself

Customer:

none of the switches work on any door

snapontech :

Thats correct nothing will work because they are all powered from this main switch

Customer:

can the switch be tested with before i purchase a new one

snapontech :

Yes you can test the switch

Customer:

how

snapontech :

You have to ohm it here is the diagram

snapontech :

When you have a closed circuit it should be close to 0

snapontech :

So put the meter on each one and do as it says

snapontech :

If the reading are not proper replace the switch

Customer:

replaced switch and still nothing

snapontech :

So you tested it first correct?

Customer:

no

snapontech :

Let me take a look. You replaced it with a brand new switch correct

Customer:

used

snapontech :

Ok well if you know its not the switch then you will have to check the ground. I would do the test to verify the switch is working but if the blue one is hot and its not working then you will have to check the ground. Here is the wiring diagram you can see what I am talking about.

Customer:

not sure how to read this

snapontech :

Thats the switch see the top is your power

snapontech :

You said its got power there and then it runs through the switch if the switch is faulty you will now get any power through the system or the main ground that comes from the switch is corroded and not getting a good connection because the switch needs power and ground

snapontech :

You will have to trace the ground from the switch and find out what is going on

Customer:

what wire is the ground to the switch

snapontech :

Lower left hand of the diagram its a black wire

Customer:

ok i will try that

snapontech :

ok

Customer:

the ground is good taking to the shop

snapontech :

In the fuse box replace the accessory delay relay I have attached a photo.
