Hello and Welcome to Justanswer,

My name is XXXXX XXXXX I am here to try and assist your with your question.

Before we condemn the heater core can you tell me if both heater hoses are getting hot at the firewall with the engine warmed up and the heater running?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
I do not have access to the vehicle at this time. Thinking of buying just wondering what kind of difficulty one would have in replacing heater core.
Expert:  Ron replied 6 years ago.

Replacing the heater core on the 2002 is a pretty good size job, the instrument panel has to come out to remove the AC/Heater cases to get the heater core out. I have enclosed the factory instructions.
