If your removing the stereo, you do not have to remove any of the dash. The radio comes out with the radio release tools which you can purchase from your local parts store for around $8.00

Actually, I'm removing the dash panel. I'm trying to remove the mounting bracket and wiring that was installed when I bought an XM radio.

No it snaps on and off, take a small screw driver and gently pop it off.
