2001 Ford Focus: dohc..bearing is out on the belt pulley..tensioner

I am working on a 2001 Ford Focus wagon with the dohc engine. The bearing is out on the belt pulley below the alternator( tensioner?} How do I get to it to change it out?

This is the SPI engine correct?

Customer:

It's the 16V Zetec

ok just seen it was a wagon the Zetec would be rare in a wagon.

Here are the instructions

says so on the valve cover

Remove the splash shield

Chuck :
  • Remove the accessory drive belt.


    1. Rotate the tensioner clockwise.2. Remove the belt.

    Chuck :

    Remove the accessory drive belt idler pulley

    Chuck :
  • Remove the accessory drive belt tensioner retaining bolts (shown from above for clarity).
  • Chuck :

    Remove the accessory drive belt tensioner

    Chuck :

    To install, reverse the removal procedure

    Customer:

    We are talking about the one down under the alternator tha is behind the frame,Right?

    Chuck :

    Yes this is the idler pulley and the tensioner

    When you say splash guard are you referring to behind the wheel( like the inner fender?
