Hello and welcome to!

Which seat belt retractor are you trying to access?

I can tell you that the retractors are not serviceable so the only way to fix it is to replace it.

I did find a TSB for retractors that are slow to retract that may help as well. CLICK HERE

Is there airbags in the seat itself?

Well you can CLICK HERE for the service instructions.

Aside from all of the Air Bag warnings.. it's really just a matter of reming the trim panels that are in the way, and then unbolting the unit... the trick is that you need a large Torx Bit for the bolt.

I found THESE INSTRUCTIONS for the Super cab. It looks like the back panel is just held in with plastic pins.

my truck is not a super cab. I tried to snap out plastic back of seat and it wouldn't give. I'm afraid if I use a tool it will break. Are you sure it snaps out?
