hello

JACUSTOMER-5ld8ccyq- :

hi

Bamaman39 :

Have you looked at the coolant to see if low and what color is it?

JACUSTOMER-5ld8ccyq- :

it was low but the radiator was leaking so i replaced it

JACUSTOMER-5ld8ccyq- :

and it still smells burnt when i slow down

Bamaman39 :

is the color brown of the antifrezze?

JACUSTOMER-5ld8ccyq- :

slightly

Bamaman39 :

is it leaking any where on the ground? How long ago was the radiator replaced?

JACUSTOMER-5ld8ccyq- :

dont see any on the ground replaced the radiator 1st of jan

Bamaman39 :

have you been smelling this right after replacement or was you smelling it before?

JACUSTOMER-5ld8ccyq- :

i could smeel it befor to

Bamaman39 :

ok there is a hose that runs from the water pump to the heater core back around to the drivers side. They are very bad about`leaking. Also intake gaskets can leak on top of the motor and will smell up the inside of the car

JACUSTOMER-5ld8ccyq- :

ok would that cause no heat from the heater

Bamaman39 :

the heat can be from a clogged heater core. If the coolant was rusty color then will make a water pump, heater core and the hoses to go bad. You need to see if the hoses coming from the heater core are hot

JACUSTOMER-5ld8ccyq- :

ok it heats very little after the radiator was replaced

Bamaman39 :

You need to check the heater core hoses. Also did you replace the thermostat?

JACUSTOMER-5ld8ccyq- :

no

JACUSTOMER-5ld8ccyq- :

eninge temp is normal

Bamaman39 :

Ok the next step is to check the hoses. If they are little warm or cold then you have a bad heater core

JACUSTOMER-5ld8ccyq- :

ok thanks

Bamaman39 :

no problem
