Have Ford Questions? Ask a Mechanic for Answers ASAP
HiCustomer Thank you for asking your question on JustAnswer.
There is a sticker with the factory code attached to the smart junction box (fuse panel) located under the steering column. The lower steering column trim panel needs to be removed and the box might need to be partially removed to find the sticker depending on where they applied it. Or you can stop by a ford dealer and they can retrieve it electronically with a scan tool. Some dealers will do this free of charge, others might charge up to 1/2 hour of labor. It takes about 5 minutes to pull the code with a scanner.
