This answer was rated:

How do I know if I have a 10 inch or 11 inch clutch on my 1995 4.9 inline 6 with mazda 5 speed, before disassembly, without trying to stick a tapemeasure through that little inspection hole and trying to measure that way

Welcome you need to call the Ford dealer and give them the last 8 digits of your vin. They can process the vin and tell you which one it is just by that information

Or you can give me the vin# XXXXX I can call them? Thanks, Marc

Hello, I'm Chris.
I will do my best to answer your question fast and accurate using the info you have provided. Thanks for visiting Just Answer.

Different expert here, I have been reading over all of this and do not agree with most of it, The vin# XXXXX not needed and with the vin# XXXXX tech should not need to ask if its 4wd. You have a 10 inch clutch. The 11 inch only came in the heavy duty 150 with a larger engine and the ZF transmission over 8500 GVW. If this helps please dont forget to reply and say I accept (experts name) answer.

Chris , You do need the vin for accuracy! I have been ordering parts and going only by the vin# XXXXX shop cannot afford to making the wrong decision.

Your clutch Disc is 11 Inch That was by a certified ford Dealer
